Because spammers were adding thousands of splogs (spam-blogs) on a daily basis,
the load on our servers went “through the roof” and we had to take it down…

To keep things running in the future, we:

- delete all blogs without posts on a regular basis.
- use advanced techniques to prevent signups by spambots.

WordPress MU is now part of the main WordPress branch under the name ‘multi-site’ or MS.
We updated all blogs to WordPress 3.0.1 and BuddyPress 1.2.5.2

Since many members asked us to add more themes, we decided to do a major theme upgrade.
We’ve added more then 100 themes, and you can easily switch between them with just one click!
Log in your admin dashboard and goto Appearance -> Themes to choose your custom theme.

All blogs are updated to WordPress2.9.1.1 (latest)!
Also the BuddyPress plugin is updated to version 1.1.3(latest)!
